Equitable is looking for a Business Strategy Analytics Lead to join the Pricing, Insights and Analytics team within the Wealth Management organization. This is a highly visible opportunity to make an impact—using analytics and modeling to uncover insights that guide important business decisions and strategy.
Responsibilities- Evaluate financial and strategic impact of advisor hires, deals, and growth initiatives through modeling and scenario analysis
- Lead development and ongoing enhancement for underwriting models for experienced hire loan offers, succession planning and practice acquisition
- Monitor and optimize debt recovery programs
- Partner with Accounting and Field Leadership to assess opportunities, risks, and financial outcomes
- Analyze key business drivers (revenue, expenses, advisor productivity, margins) and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain financial models to assess profitability, scalability, and long‑term value of business development strategies
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to evaluate and strengthen program positioning
- Prepare executive‑level presentations and materials summarizing insights, risks, and recommendations for senior leadership
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve business development strategy, processes, and decision‑making
Base salary range: $92,000 - $135,000. Additional compensation includes base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short‑term incentive opportunities. Full benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business
- 5+ years of experience in a financial/business analyst role, internal/external strategy and/or business partner role
- Established Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to manipulate, model and analyze large/complex volumes of data
- Technical, analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and drive change
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations that synthesize complex problems and recommended solutions
- Experience creating the financial story/story‑telling results
- Prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
- Initiative‑taking and self‑directed work style who seeks regular proactive feedback from supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and work within a fast‑paced, project‑driven and team environment
- Knowledge of and passion for the financial services industry
