Treasury Management Sales Officer (New York Region) Job Overview

The Treasury Management Officer is the product subject matter expert driving Treasury Management sales and client acquisition activities for the full suite of Treasury Management Products (Deposits, Liquidity, Payments, Receivables, Card, Merchant Services, Escrow sub-accounting, Fraud Prevention, and other products as assigned). Working closely with both the front and back offices, the officer will launch and sell new treasury management and payments products and services for the bank, collaborating with the Commercial Banking and Private Banking teams and leveraging industry best practices and company programs for sales strategy and process.

This employee also works closely with supporting staff, such as Operations, Customer Service, and Implementations, to manage expectations and maximize client satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability for corporate clients in the region. Reporting directly to the Treasury Management National Sales Manager, the officer will primarily support the New York region.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work with the Treasury Management Product Management team to support and develop the product roadmap, incorporating competitive landscape assessment, technology plan, client needs, and corporate strategic plan.
  • Provide market feedback and assist in defining business requirements for new treasury management products and services, required enhancements, and incremental features, building and managing go-to-market and sales strategy under guidance of the National Sales Manager.
  • Manage and perform related sales functions such as prospecting, prospect evaluation, and opportunity analysis, supporting all regions of the bank with a primary focus on the New York region, and assist in development of sales and marketing materials.
Qualifications

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in treasury management sales.

  • Detailed knowledge of banking, treasury/cash management products and services, and the bank’s customers and prospects.
  • Experience selling treasury management products and services with strong banking/product knowledge.
  • Highly motivated and change agent capable of driving sales.
  • Organized and able to support multiple areas across the bank.
  • Additional languages spoken:
    Hebrew, Spanish, and Portuguese (a plus).
Compensation

The expected annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $150,000 at the start of employment.
