Sr. Cost Accountant​/Analyst

• Analyze performance metrics to understand plant performance and make recommendations to the Finance Business Partner and General Manager.
• Work with operations and engineering department managers to understand cost performance and analyze variances.
• Support the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of Budget, Forecast, and Period End Variance Analysis cycles.
• Support the conversion of the ERP system to Oracle.
• Inventory valuation
  • Prepare inventory reconciliation
  • Calculate production cost percentage each period
  • Calculate reserves for excess and obsolete inventory and scrap
  • Analyze WIP aging and collaborate with operations to address old work orders
• Cost Analysis
  • Analyze over/under absorption
  • Review job close variances
  • Review PPV variances
  • Update standard cost rates
  • Perform profitability analysis (by part number and/or by customer)
  • Indirect rate calculation for budgeting and pricing efforts
• Maintain/update system setups
  • If a new department is added, determine if it is costed or not with Oracle SME
  • If a new department is costed, determine cost drivers and rates with Oracle SME
  • Set up new resources, overhead and rates in Oracle
• Help prepare Virtual P&L by market and report variances
• Month-end close tasks
  • Open/close inventories
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Coordinate/execute quarter sample audits of Raw, WIP and finished goods inventory

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Standard costing experience
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Highly motivated, a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker
• Able to work independently
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Knowledge of SQL and/or Access is a plus

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge with Alteryx is a plus

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary based on factors such as skill sets, experience and training, certifications, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $75,364 - $125,607. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus and potential shift premium for alternative shifts, depending on location and role.

Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, understanding access restrictions to ITAR data, and following procedures for foreign visitor handling, export shipments, and ITAR-related vendor approvals.
