ABOUT THE POSITIONPosition Title: Senior Branch Member Account Specialist
Position Overview: As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr BMAS), you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience by building meaningful relationships and providing personalized financial support. In this role, you are more than a transactional resource—you are a trusted partner helping members navigate important financial decisions, from opening accounts to accessing lending solutions and improving their overall financial wellness.
We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success, including operational processes and member service excellence. Whether your background is in retail, hospitality, or financial services, this role offers the opportunity to grow a long-term career in banking while making a tangible impact on the lives of members in the Endicott community.
Position Type: Full-Time. Typical shifts include Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM, with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM to 12:30PM.
Compensation Range: $21.00/hr.
- $23.00/hr.

Location: Position is primarily on-site at our Syracuse branch, which is located at 500 Erie Blvd W, Syracuse, NY 13204.
This position will also provide coverage to the local Cicero and Marshall St. branches as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member account inquiries, escalations, and financial service needs
- Open and maintain consumer, business, and IRA accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist members with consumer loan applications and follow-up activities throughout the lending process
- Build deeper member relationships by recommending products and services aligned with members' financial goals
- Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally while delivering exceptional member experience
- Perform branch operations, including cash handling, transaction processing, and Member Service Representative activities as needed
- Support fraud prevention and regulatory compliance by accurately verifying member identity and transaction authorization
- Perform notary services and collaborate with branch teammates to support overall branch success
- Positively represent Visions FCU at local community events
