Note: Crouse’s Anesthesia team is hiring a Full Time LPN/Anesthesia Technician
.

• Assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases
• Cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases
• Responds to requests for additional equipment/supplies during surgical cases and expedites the turnover between cases in a timely manner
• Initiates patient monitoring prior to patient induction under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist/Anesthetist
• Provides incidental teaching while supporting and reinforcing the established plan of care

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York
• Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire
• Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year previous LPN experience in a direct patient care setting required
• Previous critical care/anesthesia experience preferred
