SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join its Radiology/Cardiology team. The technologist will perform a variety of interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
, assist physicians during minimally invasive interventions, and ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging in a fast-paced academic medical center. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing and positioning patients, accurately documenting procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with an active New York State Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT (R) certification.
PALS certification is required for Emergency Department coverage, while BLS and ACLS are preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a Cath Lab within an acute care hospital is required. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment are essential.
Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
