** is working with our customer in North Syracuse, NY to hire a Medical Administrative Assistant for their location. This position is in-person/on-site.

** Pay Range:** $18-20/hour - based on experience

* Responsibilities Include:
*
* + Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound phone calls from customers, caregivers, insurance companies, and medical offices.
+ Gather, review, and track documentation related to medical services, approvals, and funding.
+ Identify missing or incorrect paperwork and proactively reach out to appropriate parties to obtain corrections or additional information.
+ Educate callers on processes, next steps, and timelines with professionalism and empathy.
+ Support individuals who may be frustrated due to delays, injuries, or other sensitive situations.
+ Maintain consistent in-office coverage.
+ Coordinate with delivery personnel and internal teams as needed.
+ Adapt to evolving processes, responsibilities, and internal changes as the company continues to grow.
+
** Preferred Experience & Qualifications*
* + Strong call center or high-volume phone experience (inbound and outbound).
+ Proven ability to work with the general public, including handling difficult or unhappy callers.
+ Background in healthcare, medical offices, insurance, reimbursements, or related administrative environments is highly preferred.
+ Experience gathering documentation, following up on open items, and managing detailed paperwork.
+ Comfort operating in a "gray area" - able to research answers, problem-solve, and follow up when solutions are not immediately clear.
+ Strong attendance, reliability, and ability to work independently.
+ Excellent communication, organization, and customer education skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

+ Previous medical office or call center experience
+ Outstanding communication skills

** Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
