Emergency Care Technician

Maintains department supplies in patient care areas.# Obtains blood specimens from patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.# Acquires and processes ECG#s and transports patients to testing areas and rooms. Performs other duties as requested under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Registered Professional Nurse. # # Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent# Certification as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician or higher certification.# Must have two (2) years of emergency medical field experience necessary at the EMT-B or higher level.# Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.# # # # #
