Radiation Therapist

Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

AAS degree or completion of an AMA-approved program RRT license New York State (NYS) license required 3–5 years of related experience Must pass pre-employment health clearance

Preferred Experience:

True Beam CT Simulation (CT Sim)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician Operate advanced radiation equipment (Co-60, Linear Accelerator, Simulator, etc.) Perform CT simulation and tumor localization Confirm treatment areas using imaging and portal verification Monitor patients for radiation reactions and provide proper care Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines Maintain accurate treatment documentation and records Coordinate patient appointments and collaborate with the care team Participate in departmental education and in-service programs
