Join PACE CNY as a Registered Nurse Clinic Manager!
Under the guidance and general direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinic Manager, RN coordinates daily clinical practice of Nursing Staff. Directly supervises Medical Assistants, Clinic Schedulers, and Medication Managers at a specific clinic location, and follows up on areas of concern to assure appropriate care is provided to each participant. Serves as liaison between clinic staff; monitors adherence to established standards of care and policies;
ensures the highest quality nursing care and customer service is being delivered; and is a key member of the interdisciplinary team.
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Salary$87,859.00 – $ per year
Responsibilities- Manages the delivery of participant care within the clinic, maximizing quality and efficiency. Supervises the clinic care planning process to ensure coordination and delivery of quality patient care; responsible for staff workflows and processes to facilitate completion of medical orders and subsequent documentation.
- Oversees clinic processes; ensures participants are scheduled or rescheduled in a timely manner; assures effective communication with the client, family, and clinical/family/participant concerns as needed.
- Responsible for day-to-day clinic activities; directly oversees nursing care provided to participants in clinic.
- Assigns/directs staff’s daily work; follows up to ensure duties are carried out; works closely with provider, scheduler, and clinic staff to ensure appropriate clinic follow‑up and care planning is completed.
- On a daily basis, reviews assigned work and required logs/tracking flow sheets to monitor completeness and accuracy.
- Works with Providers and Clinic Scheduler to ensure follow‑up visit time frames, reassessments, lab monitoring requirements, etc. are adhered to.
- In collaboration with Director, identifies systems/processes in need of improvement; monitors adherence of clinic staff to all pertinent corporate and regulatory policies and procedures; addresses issues with staff members as appropriate.
- Orients all new clinical staff, ensuring clinical and regulatory requirements are met and all orientation and competency paperwork has been completed and forwarded to Education for inclusion in the in‑service training record.
- Ensures yearly mandatory competency requirements are met by each staff person.
- Assists in data gathering for QA/QI reporting as required; assists in evaluation of QA/QI trends and participates in plans of correction development, implementation, and compliance rechecks; actively participates in root cause analysis meetings when necessary.
- Ensures environment and equipment is clean and safe for patients by conducting rounds. Assists in the monitoring of compliance with QA checks (refrigerator, code cart, etc.) and works with clinic staff to ensure policy adherence; reports/informs Program Director and DSO regarding participant/staff problems or concerns.
- Communicates and collaborates with the IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) and contracted providers during all reporting and care planning meetings.
- Communicates with participants and caregivers as appropriate.
- Practices safety awareness, reports any possible safety/environment issues to supervisor, and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates adherence to all compliance policies and procedures and the code of conduct. Displays compliance‑oriented behavior in the workplace and is responsible for promoting and fostering compliance in the workplace.
- Ensures the highest quality of care by performing responsibilities according to the highest professional standards.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in general nursing practice; two (2) years’ experience in acute care setting or specialty physician practice preferred.
- Previous managerial experience highly desirable; charge nurse experience a must.
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing or college.
- Current NYS license and registration as an RN in good standing.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proven patient assessment skills.
- Current knowledge of best practice nursing standards and care.
