Position: Social Worker - 7W Child Inpatient
Location: City of Syracuse

Job Summary

Provide high quality inpatient psychotherapy for youth and young adults at Upstate's Adolescent inpatient unit. The applicant will be expected to provide high quality psychotherapy; collaborate with team members and inpatient providers to coordinate care; and participate in quality improvement protocols to optimize clinical outcomes. A well-qualified applicant will have qualities of kindness, curiosity, openness to new ideas, and ability to collaborate with clients and team members of varying education and cultural backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications
  • LCSW.
  • Supervised individual and group psychotherapy clinical experience with children and adolescents.
  • Child & adolescent psychology clincial experience with inpatient population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work experience in child and/or adolescent inpatient unity preferred.
  • DBT and/or Trauma-focussed CBT expertise/training desirable.

Monday - Friday days

Salary

L2: $60,406 - $88,200

Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
