Registered Nurse (RN) - Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
Profession: Registered Nurse

Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend + some holidays
Position Overview
A large acute care hospital in Central New York is seeking experienced CCU/Adult ICU Registered Nurses. Candidates will be placed in adult ICU areas based on prior experience.
This is a high-acuity environment requiring strong critical care skills and the ability to work with minimal orientation and supervision.
Unit Requirements
- Adult ICU / CCU experience required
- Level I or Level II Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing in an acute setting
- Perform advanced patient assessments
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Manage hemodynamically unstable patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately within EMR
- Function independently with minimal supervision
- Current New York State RN License/Registration
- BLS Certification (must be current and able to recertify)
- Minimum 1.5 years recent ICU/CCU experience (within the past 2 years)
- Acute care experience in a facility of similar size and acuity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- No prior license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
- Must pass drug screening and criminal background check
