Pharmacy Associate- Specialty

Scope of Responsibilities

Works under direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Supervisor and Pharmacists. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Assist pharmacy staff in organization, filling, and packaging of prescriptions.

• Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders
• Restock workstation and freezers with filling supplies
• Prepare packaging and cooler boxes for daily prescription fulfillment
• Facilitate transfer of prepared packages to shipping vendors (UPS/Fed Ex)
• Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred Pharmacy Technician or related certification

• Experience in a customer service related field
• 3-6 months’ experience as a pharmacy technician preferred

• Drug test
• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
• Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

$ per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
