Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Lobby/Public Space Attendant (Full-Time) to clean and maintain all public restrooms and public areas in impeccable condition to achieve Crescent’s standards of quality.

Here is what you will be doing each day as a Lobby/Public Space Attendant:

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

You possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition and can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. You have working knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment. You work well under limited supervision and are committed to doing the job well each time.

You understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.

• Our Lobby/Public Space Attendants must have flexible availability, able to work both AM or PM shifts as needed.
• Guest Room Attendant, Housekeeping, Janitorial, Cleaning & Sanitizing experience is preferred.

Experience working in housekeeping or janitorial setting preferred.
