About the Role

At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well‑being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives — a mission we’ve honed since 1859.

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Inclusion Specialist to help bring our purpose, values, and culture to life. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our inclusion and employee engagement goals — supporting programs, policies, and experiences that help create a workplace where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to succeed.

The Inclusion Specialist partners closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to support the execution of inclusion initiatives, analyze data and insights, and promote awareness and engagement across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of culture, data, and collaboration — and wants to help shape a more inclusive employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the development and execution of inclusion programs, campaigns, and events that reinforce our purpose and values.

  • Partner with HR, Communications, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders to coordinate key moments, campaigns, events, and recognition opportunities.

  • Maintain and manage the employee engagement and events calendar to keep employees informed, connected, and inspired.

  • Bring our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to life through thoughtful programming and storytelling.

  • Analyze culture survey results and collaborate with business areas to develop and implement meaningful action plans.

  • Partner with the Data Analytics team to analyze hiring, promotion, and retention data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Gather, track, and analyze data related to workforce inclusion initiatives and outcomes.

  • Support Employee Resource Groups by helping coordinate activities, communications, and engagement efforts.

  • Assist with research and benchmarking of inclusion best practices and competitor approaches to inform recommendations and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with HR to support recruitment outreach efforts and inclusive hiring practices.

  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen diverse talent pipelines and enhance the candidate and employee experience.

What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion, Human Resources, Employee Experience, or a related function (financial services experience preferred).

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and stakeholder groups.

  • Data literacy and comfort working with surveys, dashboards, and reporting tools.

  • A passion for inclusion, employee engagement, and continuous learning.

The base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $133,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on the level and functional area of responsibility.
