We’re looking for a driven, personable
Business Technology Associate
who genuinely enjoys technology and building relationships and who wants to grow within a business technology services company focused on IT, infrastructure, cabling, and audio/video solutions.
We’re looking for someone who loves working with people and wants to learn the business side of technology services from the ground up.
This is an onsite role based between our offices in Liverpool and Camillus, with time spent at client sites, meetings, community gatherings, and events as the role evolves. The position is flexible in the beginning but is expected to grow into a full-time, critical team member role through training, experience, and demonstrated growth. Reliable transportation is required.
This opportunity is ideal for someone finishing a technology-related program or changing careers who wants to build a long-term path in the technology services industry.
What You’ll Be Helping With (and Learning)You’ll begin in a supportive, learning-focused capacity assisting with:
- Ordering, receiving, staging, and organizing IT, AV, and infrastructure equipment
- Inventory tracking and vendor coordination
- Supporting quotes, sales documentation, and internal workflows
- Assisting with business operations that keep projects and service work moving
- Learning how IT, audio/video, cabling, and infrastructure projects are planned and delivered
This is a learn-by-doing role with mentorship and structured growth.
Training & Professional DevelopmentClear goals will be set around industry training and certifications, including exposure to:
- Microsoft platforms (Microsoft 365 and related services)
- Hardware, networking, and infrastructure vendors
- Audio and video manufacturers and business AV solutions
- Internal systems and operational best practices
Compensation grows as responsibilities grow, and performance-based incentives may be introduced as the role evolves.
What the First 90 Days Look LikeFirst 30 Days
- Learn systems, vendors, and workflows
- Assist with ordering and inventory
- Shadow team members to understand project flow
Days 30–60
- Begin assisting more independently with sales and operational coordination
- Gain exposure to client-facing processes
- Begin structured industry training
Days 60–90
- Take increasing responsibility in internal workflows
