Hospital Information Systems Manager

Job Summary

Manages Hospital Information Systems staff and projects to provide service/support for information system user departments. Works directly with department managers, supervisors and end users to coordinate the implementation of hospital information systems, applications, and/or interfaces. Will oversee the building, testing, training, support, maintenance, and enhancements of all assigned information systems.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience (i.e. Information Systems, Project Management or Healthcare Management) to include 2 years of supervisory or project lead experience, plus strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

• Experience directly managing the implementation, optimization, and support of clinical applications, preferably with EPIC.
• Ability to act as a liaison between operational leadership and IMT teams to ensure all systems are maintained per established policies and procedures.
• Experience in assessing departmental needs in terms of workflow and technology recommendations to operational leadership for implementing new processes/systems or expanding current processes/systems to enhance patient and community experience.
