HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Camillus and Auburn. Manager of IS SupportThe Manager of IS Support oversees the day-to-day operations of , leading a team of support technicians to ensure seamless technology operations across the organization. This role bridges technical execution and business strategy by managing help desk workflows, and collaborating with leadership on new technology acquisitions. The ideal candidate pairs deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver reliable, and user-friendly IS services.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications & Experience
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Infrastructure: Deep understanding of server administration, PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux), peripherals, and telecommunication systems.
- Help Desk Management: Hands-on experience managing Help Desk ticketing systems and optimizing SLA tracking and documentation.
- Change Management: Familiarity with system conversions, software deployments, and data migration workflows.
- Leadership: Ability to coach, train, and motivate technical staff while ensuring daily office coverage.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to translate complex technical changes into clear updates for non-technical departments.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with department managers and the Director of IS.
- Discretion: Absolute integrity and ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding sensitive company and employee data.
- Degree: Associate degree, Bachelor degree, technical training, or comparable experience preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in IS operations, infrastructure management, or systems administration preferred.
