Position: Underwriter III with State License
A company is looking for an Underwriter III to evaluate and select risk using internal and external data sources.

Key Responsibilities Evaluate and develop rates for underwriting proposals and renewals, including groups and self-funding clients Master alternative funding arrangements and suggest solutions to manage risk effectively Train underwriting associates and non-underwriting departments on policies and procedures

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field, or 4 years of related work experience 5 years of health insurance underwriting experience Advanced Excel skills and intermediate Access skills Mastery of underwriting policies and procedures CEBS, HIAA, CLU, CHC, or FLMI designations and/or state insurance license preferred
