Job Description
The Humanities Department at Onondaga Community College is currently inviting applications to teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish.
RequirementsMinimum Requirements
- Fluent and accurate command of Spanish, including culture and language pedagogy.
- Master's degree in Spanish or a related field with 18 credits in Spanish. For native speakers:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field with 18 credits in Spanish. - Preference to those with community college teaching experience.
- Official transcripts required upon hire.
Preferred Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; other languages also considered.
- Adjunct rate for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527 per credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as‑needed basis, dependent upon enrollment.
- Adjuncts eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
