Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing Trusts & Estates law. Existing book of business required. Demonstrated success advising clients on estate and probate matters, drafting wills and trusts, and handling surrogate's court proceedings. Medicaid planning experience strongly preferred. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in New York State, in good standing.
Strong drafting, litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills. Proven ability to grow and manage a practice while working collaboratively with peers across practice areas. Commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (commensurate with experience). Origination credit for portable business. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with firm match, and more.
