Outpatient Pharmacy Courier

Overview

The courier position is responsible for picking up and delivering medications to patient homes utilizing route optimization via courier software. Handles STAT pick-ups as requested. Coordination of routes, clinics and home patient medication deliveries. Helping to manage pharmacy Will Call system for patient prescription pickup. Packaging medications in appropriate boxes with appropriate refrigeration based on accreditation standards.

• Pick up and deliver medications to patient homes using route optimization software.

• Coordinate routes, clinics, and home patient medication deliveries.
• Assist in managing the pharmacy Will Call system for patient prescription pickup.
• Package medications in appropriate boxes with appropriate refrigeration based on accreditation standards.

• Valid and clean NYS driver’s license (driver's with a high school degree or higher).
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong customer service, professional phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Work Days:
  Rotating schedule between 8am-8pm. Weekends and holidays based on operational need.

Salary Range-$39,520-$50,589
