Overview
INFICON seeks a highly skilled and analytical SIOP Manager to lead the full Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle for the ISS Division. This role sits at the intersection of commercial demand, operational supply capability, and executive decision‑making. The SIOP Manager is responsible for driving forecast quality, enabling proactive supply‑capacity planning, and facilitating monthly executive reviews that shape INFICON’s near‑ and long‑term operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & ForecastingLead the statistical demand forecasting process across all product families, integrating baseline models with inputs from Sales and Product Management.
Track and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and other forecast performance metrics.
Manage NPI demand planning, including ramp forecasts, safety stock recommendations, and transition planning for phase‑in/phase‑out products.
SIOP Process OwnershipOwn and continuously improve the end‑to‑end monthly SIOP cycle, including Demand Review, Supply Review, Inventory Review, Pre‑SIOP, and Executive SIOP.
Prepare and present the Executive SIOP package, summarizing demand, supply gaps, revenue risk, inventory trajectory, and required decisions.
Define and track SIOP effectiveness metrics and ensure high‑quality, timely inputs from all contributing functions.
Supply Planning & Capacity AnalysisTranslate the consensus forecast into long‑range supply, capacity, and constraint analyses using RCCP techniques.
Identify bottlenecks, supplier limitations, and long‑lead risks at a 12–18 month horizon.
Support global intercompany supply planning to ensure alignment across INFICON sites.
Partner with the Materials Manager and planning teams to manage short‑term S&OE priorities.
Cross‑Functional CollaborationFacilitate the Demand Review process with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to build a consensus demand plan.
Align the operational forecast with financial commitments and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Analytics & ReportingBuild and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and SIOP planning tools with ownership of data accuracy.
Partner with the Supply Chain Analytics Manager to integrate SIOP data into the broader BI ecosystem.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related quantitative field. Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain/Engineering) preferred.
Experience:
8–10 years of experience in demand planning or S&OP/SIOP within a B2B manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ownership of the full SIOP cycle, including executive‑level facilitation. Industry experience in semiconductor equipment, precision instruments, medical devices, analytical technology, or aerospace/defense preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills:
Proficiency with SAP APO, IBP, or SAP PP/MRP planning tools. Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and demand planning best practices. Hands‑on SAP MM/PP experience supporting supply planning and MRP analysis. Advanced analytics capabilities using Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Excel. Proven ability to facilitate cross‑functional SIOP meetings and drive consensus.
Preferred Attributes: APICS CPIM or CSCP, IBF CPF, or SAP IBP certification. Strong communication and executive presence. Ability to lead through complexity and influence cross‑functional partners.
Additional InformationThe expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit‑sharing bonus with a target of 10%, as well as a 401K match up to 8% (vesting schedule).
