The Contract Custodian is responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of their assigned facility(s), which may include interior and exterior work depending on the contract. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal, window cleaning, and other tasks as required by the contract. Additional duties may include carpet shampooing, floor stripping/waxing, and burnishing. Work is typically performed at a client site within the community.
The position also requires the safe use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Six months of related experience
- A combination of education and experience which, in the judgment of the employer, equals above standards
- Ability to get to the assigned site independently and on time
Salary: $15.85 - $16.00 per hour
