Location: City of Syracuse
State of New York in Syracuse is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant 1 (Utilities) to perform routine HVAC operation, maintenance and repairs while learning the trade. Duties include checking HVAC systems, changing filters, cleaning traps, starting pumps, and reading gauges as part of a team.
The role requires ability to follow written and oral instructions, strong safety adherence, and physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday, 3:30pm-12am with a 40-hour week.
