Director of Business Operations

CR Fletcher is recruiting for a Director of Business Operations for a multi-site manufacturing company in the Central NY area.

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of multi-site production and service operations, overseeing staff, quality control, contract compliance, safety, facility management, and customer satisfaction while ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and securing new commercial, state, and federal opportunities, expanding revenue streams, and supporting workforce integration initiatives.
• Oversee financial performance, including participation in fiscal reviews, annual work planning, budgeting, profitability analysis, and capital investment recommendations to support growth.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for key customers and partners, ensuring high responsiveness, successful contract implementation, and long-term partnership development.
• Lead and develop operational teams, manage performance and compliance reporting, coordinate regulatory certifications, and align operations with organizational mission, strategic goals, and industry best practices.

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong financial acumen and business development skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations
