Accounting Manager

New role for a growing company with multiple business units. The Accounting Manager will have day-to-day responsibility for the accounting department while leading a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee and supervise all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely invoicing, reconciliations, deposits, and monthly financial reporting.
• Lead, train, and develop accounting staff by setting performance expectations, conducting reviews, coordinating team meetings, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage billing, collections, and client account issues, including delinquency resolution, and payment plans, while delivering strong internal and external customer service.
• Establish, maintain, and monitor accounting procedures and internal controls; support audits and ensure adherence to required compliance and training programs.
• Utilize strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and technology skills to improve processes, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum three to five years’ experience with at least two years of supervisory/leadership experience of an accounting department
• Excellent technical and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
