Position SummaryThe Program Manager in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies provides administrative, operational, and project support for the HRSA-funded grant. This position is responsible for coordinating clinical site development activities, supporting grant reporting and compliance, managing project logistics, tracking budgets and payments, organizing events, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and assisting with implementation of grant initiatives and program objectives.
This position is funded by external sources and is contingent on the continued receival of those funds.
Principal Duties and Essential Functions Job duties specific to this position:- Manage current professional relationships with primary care medical facilities and providers to ensure adequate clinical site placement for student rotations and delivery of curriculum primarily in communities that align with grant initiatives;
- Support onboarding and communication with clinical preceptors, students, faculty, and community partners.
- Cultivate relationships with Le Moyne College Physician Assistant (PA) alumni to increase preceptor partnerships in communities that align with grant initiatives;
- Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of all activities, tasks, contacts, account management and maintain grant files, databases and tracking systems;
- Participate in the continuous program assessment process to include discussions and actions related to program compliance with accreditation standards;
- Obtain student feedback to enhance the clinical site experience (problem solver/work with clinical team to provide feedback to the preceptor);
- Serve as liaison with stakeholders;
- Work closely with the Project Director to prepare comprehensive action plans for coordination of internal and external grant-related meetings/workshops and trainings;
- Support HRSA grant director with drafting and submission of required grant reports;
- Develop and manage projects and events from conception to completion;
- Coordinate calendars, schedules, and logistics for grant-related meetings, trainings, and site visits.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up documentation.
- Manage budget and process invoices, stipend requests, reimbursements, and payment documentation in accordance with College and HRSA requirements.
- Monitor timelines and deliverables to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Collaborate with campus resources and external organizations;
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Director and Clinical Coordinator
