Location: Nixon Gear, Syracuse, NY 13209
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm)
Warehouse Technician wanted! Gear Motions – Auto Gear Division in Syracuse, NY is seeking a reliable Warehouse Technician to join our team. This position involves shipping, receiving, inventory management, and preparing parts for production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Warehouse TechnicianKey Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee shipping, receiving, and accurate record-keeping for materials, supplies, and finished parts.
- Coordinate shipments to meet customer requirements and support manufacturing schedules.
- Prepare and ship products according to packing, loading, unloading, and inspection procedures with timely documentation.
- Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy, and route parts appropriately.
- Maintain inventory records and complete all required paperwork.
- Prepare parts for assembly by pulling and kitting components, performing super-finishing, and handling sub-assemblies.
- Take full responsibility for the vibratory deburr area and operate additional equipment as directed.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous warehouse and shipping experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to handle materials safely and operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in person at our Syracuse, NY facility.
