Machine Setup​/Repair Technician

Adecco is recruiting for a Machine Setup / Repair Technician for a client in Syracuse, NY
. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $28–32/hour DOE.

This role focuses on setting up and troubleshooting multi-spindle screw machines, with some mechanical repair responsibilities depending on experience.

• Perform machine setups including tooling, adjustments, and changeovers
• Troubleshoot production issues and keep machines running efficiently
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform minor repairs as needed
• Support production with quality, cycle time, and process improvements
• Work closely with operators and maintenance teams

• 3+ years of experience with screw machines (Davenport, Acme-Gridley, or similar)
• Strong setup and troubleshooting experience
• Mechanical aptitude; repair or rebuild experience is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
