Location: City of Syracuse
Adecco is recruiting for a Machine Setup / Repair Technician for a client in Syracuse, NY
. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $28–32/hour DOE.
This role focuses on setting up and troubleshooting multi-spindle screw machines, with some mechanical repair responsibilities depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform machine setups including tooling, adjustments, and changeovers
- Troubleshoot production issues and keep machines running efficiently
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform minor repairs as needed
- Support production with quality, cycle time, and process improvements
- Work closely with operators and maintenance teams
- 3+ years of experience with screw machines (Davenport, Acme-Gridley, or similar)
- Strong setup and troubleshooting experience
- Mechanical aptitude; repair or rebuild experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
