Seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Repair Technician to join our Syracuse manufacturing team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and optimize CNC machining equipment and related production systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, CNC machine repair experience, and a working knowledge of PLC logic and machine programming.
What You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues
Tear down equipment, determine root cause of failures, repair or replace defective components, and return machines to service
Interpret ladder logic diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on machine systems and components
Work with CNC controls, machine programming, M-code/G-code functions, and PLC-controlled equipment
Verify machine operation and make adjustments to meet required specifications
Troubleshoot defective printed circuit boards and electrical assemblies
Support preventative and predictive maintenance activities
Follow all safety standards, procedures, and company policies
High School Diploma or GED
Journeyman certification OR at least 3 years of documented CNC repair maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical environment
Experience reading and interpreting:
Ladder logic diagrams
Industrial motor control schematics
Mechanical and electrical blueprints
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
4+ years of CNC repair maintenance experience
Experience with machining equipment and CNC controls
Background in electrical troubleshooting and industrial maintenance
Two-year degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
Military electronics or maintenance experience
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems
