You will set machine controls for speed, feed, coolant flow, and program inputs as required to maintain proper machining conditions. You will review work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining sequences and finished part requirements.

In this role, you will measure, mark, and verify materials prior to and during machining, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. You will troubleshoot machine operations, detect malfunctions or tool wear, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality output. You will also change cutting tools, assist with setup activities, monitor machine performance, and ensure all tooling, materials, and inventory usage is properly recorded.

The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand G-code, follow detailed instructions, and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to producing quality parts are essential. You should be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
