Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager
- Iron. This role is onsite at our GEIS Headquarters in Syracuse, NY. Relocation is not provided for this position.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Managing multi-product line manufacturing operations in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals across various shifts. They will develop shift supervisors and hourly employees through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and leadership. This person will manage, direct, plan and coordinate (through Manufacturing Supervisors, & Team Leads) the manufacturing activities of both foundry and machining sections to meet plant objectives, and sales goals.

In this role you will:

• Work cross-functionally to create a robust value stream map for the Iron value stream and assigned product lines for both current and future state
• Lead a team of direct & indirect reports to implement improvements to efficiencies & productivity in the area
• Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to deliver a strategy for current and future business needs for these product lines
• Build capability of value stream group leaders/members to drive improvements & accountability
• Review existing processes/systems and drive implementation of improvements using lean CI tools
• Prepare the Profit Plan and manage costs within that Profit Plan
• Develop departmental performance targets & ensure KPIs are met
• Own the supply chain relationship, coordinating with both vendors and customers
  
  Perform other duties as assigned by direct manager

Basic (Required)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field of study from an accredited institution
• SAP business system experience
• Supply Chain experience, particularly in planning
• Lean Six Sigma experience
• Change management experience
• Process management experience
