* Position Overview:
*
* The Production Maintenance Technician I is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role ensures production efficiency by performing preventative maintenance, assisting with technical problem-solving, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a regulated environment.
*
* Key Responsibilities:
*
* + Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
+ Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, emergency repairs, and project work
+ Maintain floors, walls, and general facility infrastructure within production areas
+ Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately and on time
+ Support development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job plans
+ Assist with equipment and process improvements based on production needs
+ Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies
+ Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
+ Respond to equipment alarms, production issues, and maintenance requests
+ Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals

* Qualifications:
*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Technical or vocational training preferred
+ 2+ years of maintenance or manufacturing experience
+ Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and production equipment
+ Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and regulated manufacturing environments preferred
+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, maintenance systems)
+ Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
+ Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and changing production needs

* Physical Requirements:

* + Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout shift (75-100%)
+ Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
+ Frequent climbing, stooping, and kneeling
+ Ability to read, write, and operate equipment/computers consistently
+ Adequate hearing and vision for safe communication and task execution
