The Final Inspector is accountable for preparing items for the shipping process to aid in process inspection of product after completion of processes. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to read and comprehend technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint. The role will aid in other final inspection functions to establish compliance with order specifications and conformity.

The incumbent must be able to train on 1st shift hours. This position is located at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Hours for this position are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

• Measure, cut, and seal bags in preparation for shipping completed boards
• Read, comprehend, and interpret travelers and drawings provided to assess requirements and special instructions required for jobs
• Have basic comprehension of IPC and military requirements; must know where to obtain customer‑specific specifications
• Inspect product under magnifying tool for opens, shorts, contamination, solder mask/legend issues, etc.
• Compare size and location of holes to verify conformance to specifications when assisting with first‑article measurements
• Perform any rework operations (solder mask touch‑up, remove burrs/rough spots, rework damaged areas, cover exposed copper areas with solder mask, clean and/or polish surface‑mount pads) that can be done inside the final inspection department
• Stamp mark of approval or rejection, or initials, on product or traveler
• Log job in and out of ERP system with accurate counts of product
• Record data and complete scrap report forms
• Stack finished boards with separator sheets for transfer to next workstation

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to read and comprehend technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint
• Ability to visually verify fine detail work
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and have strong attention to details and able to switch between different circuit board programs
• Must be able to handle interruptions to workflow as necessary to accommodate engineering requests
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to look at screen/scope for long periods of time

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in a role requiring technical aptitude

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience with in the aerospace industry or AS9100 and OFAC helpful
• Printed circuit board and quality experience a plus

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
