We’re looking for a 2nd Shift Gas Cylinder Filler Associate to join our growing Syracuse, NY Fill Plant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on, physical work, values precision and safety, and wants to build a long‑term career with a family‑oriented company that truly invests in its people.

What You’ll Do

As a Gas Cylinder Filler Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery of medical and industrial gases to our customers. You’ll:

  • Perform proper daily prefill, in‑process, and post‑fill operations for medical and industrial gas cylinders
  • Handle, move, and fill high‑pressure gas cylinders following strict safety and quality procedures
  • Inspect cylinders, read and interpret labels, and understand gas properties and associated hazards
  • Pull customer orders, branch transfers, and receive incoming products
  • Maintain accurate inventory and complete required FDA documentation
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals and uphold Haun’s safety and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks safely
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during a 2nd shift schedule
  • Ability or willingness to operate manual and powered equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, tow motor, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to read small and large print clearly
  • A commitment to uphold Haun values:

  • Prior warehouse or gas cylinder filling experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 or more pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Ability to reach above head height and safely operate production equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while following strict safety and quality standards
