Process Engineering Technician

The Process Engineering Technician assists manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments. The Technician may assist manufacturing with process elements or process and quality engineers with the testing and gathering of data on various elements of the printed circuit board manufacturing process.

• Assure manufacturing process is running per procedure or conduct engineering tests.
• Monitor manufacturing process or perform failure analysis for engineering or quality.
• Take measurements for process control or gather measurement data for engineering.
• Rewrite documentation to update new practices or write and prepare reports for engineering or quality.
• Respond to data on process control charts or maintain material movement spreadsheets and report results.
• Run tests through production process line or assist process engineer with evaluating data.
• Be responsible for all processes within manufacturing and support the efforts of engineers.
• Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests.
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong desire and willingness to learn.
• Familiar with PC applications.

• Associate's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience.
• Strong math skills, especially statistics.
• Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

Compensation range: $43,237 – $68,342. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus based on position assignment. Alternative shift positions may be eligible for a shift premium.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes: identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, restricting access to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents only, recognizing foreign visitors by badge differentiation, following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities, understanding export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
