Material Handler; Fork Truck Driver - 1st Shift

Position: Material Handler (Fork Truck Driver) - 1st Shift
Location: City of Syracuse

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Material Handler (Fork Truck Driver) - 1st Shift at our location in Syracuse, NY.The hourly rate for this position is $19.77 per hour. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm.

What you’ll do:

Operate fork lift truck or hand truck to move, stack and deliver material to/from proper destinations or storage areas.

Perform various duties to load and unload carriers, operate staging elevator and transfer conveyors, and transport material within Team Orange as required.

Move machined parts, castings, assemblies, material and supplies about the department as directed, from station to station, to and from storage areas and to other departments

Keep operators and assemblers supplied with work and see that move ticket accompanies outgoing material

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Prior fork lift experience
