Remedy Staffing is now looking to fill several machine operator positions.

• Machine Setters/Set up Operators
• Automation Machines
• Automation Technicians

Locations:
East Syracuse & Syracuse

Hours:

1st and 2nd shift available

Days: depending on position

Pay: depending on experience

• Operates a line of multiple spindle screw machines, checking for quality of parts
• Responsible for maintaining production levels and quality standards
• Remove, sharpen and reset tools as necessary
• Load barstock and pull chips as necessary
• Maintain tool log sheets
• Perform all SPC charting as required for a specific job or group of machines
• Perform set-up operations as needed, making adjustments, completing repairs as necessary and reporting problems to line coordinator
• Perform basic maintenance
• Follow preventative maintenance program
  
  Troubleshoot machine, tooling and part issues

• Set up and operating experience on screw machines
• Excellent math skills
• Ability to use micrometers and other measuring devices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of mechanical gearing, cams, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• At least two years of automated machine experience
