Your Role in Unpacking Possibilities

The primary purpose of the Material Handler is to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations by palletizing finished product according to specifications and preparing materials for warehouse handling and shipment. This role helps ensure product integrity, maintain workplace organization, and contributes to a positive employee experience through teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.

What You'll Be Responsible For Product Handling & Palletizing
  • Accurately palletize and stack finished products according to specifications and customer requirements
  • Inspect products during palletizing to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and quality standards are met
  • Secure and prepare finished pallets for warehouse transfer and shipment
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely
Quality & Compliance
  • Monitor product quality throughout the palletizing process
  • Identify and report product defects, packaging concerns, or process issues
  • Follow all HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality standards
  • Support compliance with company policies and operational procedures
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Follow all safety requirements, PPE expectations, and material handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment using 5S principles
  • Remove and manage scrap bins safely and efficiently
  • Report safety concerns, near misses, and equipment issues immediately
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
  • Support production flow by assisting operators and team members as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve daily production goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Contribute to a culture built on respect, accountability, and teamwork

What You Bring Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires:

  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Repetitive hand and finger movements
  • Stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional team-assisted lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and industrial conditions
  • Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to safely perform job duties
  • Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all safety standards
Additional Requirements
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs require

    Ability to work varying schedules and shifts
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, if certified and authorized
