Syracuse, NY Area | First Shift | $25–$30 per Hour

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Test Technician for a 7+ month assignment with an advanced manufacturing company in the Syracuse area.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, troubleshooting complex equipment, and working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. The assignment includes paid holidays and a completion bonus.

• Test and inspect complex electromechanical products and assemblies during multiple stages of production.
• Review test results to identify failures, performance issues, and recurring trends.
• Diagnose product and equipment problems using electronic test instruments, measurement tools, and computerized test systems.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test equipment and fixtures.
• Document test results accurately and help improve test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Read and work from engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support new product launches, process improvements, and other manufacturing initiatives.

• Associate degree, technical certification, military technical training, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electronics, manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Experience with product testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and documenting results in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment, measurement instruments, diagnostic tools, and computerized testing systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without current or future sponsorship.
