If you're excited by the opportunity to help a growing, entrepreneurial manufacturer build the operational foundation for its next stage of growth, this Director of Operations role in Syracuse, NY could be a great fit.

We're looking for a leader who can identify what needs to improve and work alongside the team to make it happen.

What You'll Take Ownership Of
  • Lead manufacturing, planning, quality, safety, maintenance, supply chain, inventory, and logistics.
  • Improve productivity, throughput, labor efficiency, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
  • Build and standardize operating processes, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Drive Lean, 5S, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and waste reduction.
  • Strengthen production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and ERP utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, equipment, and capital improvements.
  • Develop supervisors and employees while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership to help shape operational strategy and support long-term growth.
What a Great Fit Looks Like
  • 5+ years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field;
    Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven success improving manufacturing productivity, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Strong experience with production planning, scheduling, inventory, and supply chain.
  • Experience with Lean/5S, continuous improvement, and ERP systems.
  • A hands on, high energy leadership style, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, from the plant floor to senior leadership.
