Fabrication of aluminum window extrusions and preparation of aluminum doors for hardware.
Essential Functions- Handles aluminum doors and frames weighing from 60 to 150 pounds
- Performs fabrication on these products including:
- Cutting stock length material to size
- Preparing cut extrusions for assembly
- Preparing blank aluminum doors for hardware
- Installation of commercial hardware on doors and frames
- Using power and hand tools
- Reads Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed
Other relative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
- Good communication skills
- Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
- Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
