Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric ICU (PICU)
Location: 1 Childrens Cir, Syracuse, NY 13210
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day – 3x12-Hour
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Some holidays required
Unit
Critical Care – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Experience Requirements- Minimum 3 years PICU experience
- Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
- Experience must be recent (within the past 2 years)
- Travelers must have worked in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity
- Active New York State RN License
- BLS certification
- Strong pediatric critical care assessment skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

EPIC experience preferred
- Clean license history (no suspensions or investigations)
- Must not have been named in a professional liability claim
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance
- Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
- Deliver high-level pediatric critical care nursing
- Perform advanced assessments and interventions
- Provide safe, evidence-based care in a high-acuity PICU setting
