This locum tenens position requires exceptional expertise in handling an array of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, and neurology. - Schedule: Flexible (5 x 8-hour shifts, 4 x 10-hour shifts, or 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM)

- Location: Syracuse, NY
- Stipends: Car rental/mileage stipend - $400 weekly;
Lodging/housing stipend - $165 daily
- Weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive credentialing assistance
- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
- Flexible scheduling
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Obtain and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient physiological conditions
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Various shift lengths available: 8-hour (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 10-hour (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), or 12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Proficient in paper charting and electronic patient record systems for pre and post-operative orders
- Skilled in handling general surgery, GYN, bariatric, OB, ortho, neuro, and pediatric cases
- Capable of supervising at a 1:3 ratio when required
