RN Unit Manager

Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an RN Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, developing and supervising the nursing activities during the day shift managing a 40-bed LTC unit. • 1. Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, College or University.
• 2. Prefer minimum of one year experience in LTC facility and 3 years nursing experience.
• 3. Must possess a current and valid RN license in NYS.
• 4. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• 5. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with personnel.

• Ensure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained
• Ensure that a safe and effective patient care environment is maintained at all times
• Supervise and monitor the activities of nursing staff, including authorization of overtime and reassigning employees as needed
• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies and procedures
• Complete hourly rounds of the facility to ensure compliance
• Receive and handle family and resident complaints
• Treat all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy and dignity

• Current NYS RN Licensure
• Minimum one year of experience in Long‑Term Care or medical/surgical settings (preferred)
