OBGYN Advanced Practice Provider - Midwife
Location: Syracuse

- Provide expert level clinical care & coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care, including assessing & evaluating patients, ordering appropriate laboratory testing & diagnostic studies, arranging for referrals, testing, consultation & therapeutic services, and maintaining outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians & all members of the health care team.
- The obstetrical services may include antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care including the performance of circumcisions, ED OB evaluations, admissions, discharges, and management for all the above.
- The gynecological services will include pre-operative and post-operative care including L&D Triage, ED evaluations, admissions, and discharges.
- Rotating weekend and holiday coverage of L&D may be required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing and NYS licensure as Nurse Midwife, certification by the ANCM, and license or eligible as a RN in New York State.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification or will obtain within first month of employment.
- Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NALS, EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), fetal monitoring NST interpretations, and amniotic fluid index (AFI) interpretations.
- At least two years of clinical experience, one of which in obstetrics and gynecology preferred.
Monday through Sunday; shifts vary and may include holidays and weekends.
Benefits & Compensation- Benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance; eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule).
- Tuition reimbursement; generous paid time off including vacation, personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.
- L5 salary: $92,000 - $147,004.
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 (half paid at hire, half after 6 months).

The salary information shown is a general guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications. The salary range is based on full-time employment (1.0 FTE) and prorated for less than 1.0 FTE.
