About This Role
The Transfer Center Nurse Specialist will provide critical assessments and guide referring facilities to the appropriate physician, ensuring customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment.
Highlights- Location:
Syracuse, NY - Schedule:
Part-time, Evenings with some weekends and holidays
- Provide timely assessments for patient transfers
- Guide referring facilities to appropriate physicians
- Manage multiple phone lines and transfer logistics
- Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations
- Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing
Experience:
- 1 year of hospital-based experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with an Associate's degree
Licenses &
Certifications:
- NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible)
- CPR-BLS required by time of appointment
