Interventional Radiology - Registered Nurse

Schedule:

Days - 10-hour shifts (6 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.) with rotating call.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 16 weeks

Requirements:

• Active and clear RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Experience in neuro ICU
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Preferred: 2 years in neuro IR lab, radiology, or IR/cath lab experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to endovascular patients undergoing procedures such as angiograms and interventions for strokes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and assist in medical procedures as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
