Schedule:
Days - 10-hour shifts (6 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m.) with rotating call.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
40 hours per week
Requirements:
- Active and clear RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience in neuro ICU
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Preferred: 2 years in neuro IR lab, radiology, or IR/cath lab experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to endovascular patients undergoing procedures such as angiograms and interventions for strokes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and assist in medical procedures as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
