About the PositionQualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN needed in Syracuse, NY. The role includes caring for patients in PACU and Pre-Post Op units for various surgical services, including high-risk cesarean sections and a range of surgical specialties such as Endoscopy, ENT, General, GYN, GYN Oncology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular surgery. Patients range from adults to some pediatrics. The position requires the ability to recover critical care patients and includes inpatient and 23‑hour stay acute PACU responsibilities.
Responsibilitiesand Requirements
Required
Certifications:
Active and Clear New York RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, EPIC EMR experience, ability to recover critical care patients
Preferred Experience: Travel nursing experience
Charting: EPIC
Call Requirement: Weekday call
Dress Code: Any color scrubs
